Every student and staff member entering our schools deserves to walk into a safe and welcoming environment. The safety of our children will always remain my number one priority.
Many of our families our struggling economically and the school district must be looking at creative solutions to help identify and meet this growing demand of needs. At the same time, our public education dollars must be protected and budgeted wisely, making sure student safety and success are always prioritized.
Teacher retention and the success of our employees must be prioritized so we keep great teachers in our schools, who are best suited for the needs of District 26 school. Our graduates need multiple opportunities to find pathways to success once they leave our schools, whether that is college, the workforce or becoming one of our brave military members.
